Last summer, I went to stay with my daughter for a few weeks after my first grandchild was born. I was so happy to lend her a hand, but I quickly learned that I needed to call home every day to remind my husband to feed the dog. However, I didn’t want to run up my daughter’s phone bill. I did a bit of research, and I was able to buy a prepaid calling card that let me call my husband from my daughter’s home phone line without adding to her long distance bill. This summer, my daughter and son-in-law are bringing my grandson to visit.
