I live in the Midwest and, while some major cities have a lot of nightlife, many of the cities are mellow.  Because of this, it becomes important to find ways to entertain oneself at home, and movies and television are two of those.  Fortunately, I have cable in my area and it gives people an option to maximize their TV enjoyment by providing variety and other cool features.  There are often plenty of sports to watch and even channels that have Spanish programming.  It’s hard these days to find much on TV without some sort of paid service, and cable fills those shoes well.
