I think the new MacBook is a COMPLETE waste of money. It's only 2 pounds lighter, and look at all the things you lose (ethernet, speed, usb ports, DISC DRIVE...) It's also $800 more than a macbook, redicolous.

EXACTLY. by the way, the macbook air uses the SAME harddrive as the ipod classic does, lol. They couldn't even put in the 160GB one :nervous: _________________ Founder of Galaxy GUI |

nope. The $1799 has an 80GB iPod Classic Parallel ATA Harddrive. The $3,098 one has a 64GB Solid State Hard drive _________________ Founder of Galaxy GUI |

I concur! I mean, your sacrificing size for features and that is not the best move for this product. I'm sure v2 of it will hopefully bring back some of this 'important' aspects to a standard MacBook. |

| It's being touted as a secondary computer, not something that you might own singly. But many people will have it as just that... if it had an optical drive and at least two USB ports, I might be tempted to consider it in the future. |

haha, yeah i agree with manufn619.
but if they wanted more ppl to consider it, it should have had a optical drive and 2 usb ports. whats the deal with the extreme thinness??? look at some other ultraportables, they dont need a $99 external drive :l _________________ Founder of Galaxy GUI |
