Hey, ive been seeing a lot of cool screenshots where people have done cool stuff to their explorer windows, but one thing ive always wanted to do was apply custom thumbnails to stuff like movies, and in this screenshot it looks like thats what tomtom has done:
Anyone have any ideas on how this is done? |

| Yeah sure but i assume some software is being used because windows xp doesnt have support to do that afaik. |

The images used were probably personalized in Photoshop.
You can change any system icon by simply using IconPackager and then Styler to resize.
You might want to take a look at this application... http://www.customizefolders.com/
As for the background, you can use a nifty utility like Backgrounder or even WindowPaper.
If you don't want to resort to another software installation, you can always fake it with Avedesk

First Download this

just install it and you can set wallpapers
Then make one or use one, w/e you want....
remember to do this
on the folder which you want to customize
right click
Arrange icons by
then uncheck everything
then you can drag the icons wherever you want, like in the boxes
it will take some time but it is worth it |

you're right, it is xD. I just took a look at the rest of it, has some awesome vista apps. hmm, desktop effects, might give that one a try
