Let me ask you a question. Does Linux have any good games? If you answered yes to that then, good man, if you said no, then prepare yourself to be amazed. I present to you, Racer. Racer is a free cross-platform car simulation project (for non-commercial use), using professional car physics to achieve a realistic feeling and an excellent render engine for graphical realism. Cars, tracks and such can be created relatively easy (compared to other, more closed, driving simulations). The 3D, physics and other file formats are documented. Editors and support programs are also available to get a very customizable and expandable simulator. With OpenGL rendering for top notch graphics, Racer by far preceeds any other free game as far as graphics are conserned. When it comes to game play, its much like the Need For Speed game series.



Maybe this will change the views of some of the people who think linux has no good games. Puh-lease!

Lol, the beta version says (mostly windows happy)

xD well, actually, r u doing the controls? cause i thought it had frozen but its just the controls, when it starts go to options then controls, move the mouse up and its accel down brake left left right right wink good luck

This computer SUCKS. the game uses 127mb virtual ram, which freezes it up surprised
