this can only be done in linux!
Open terminal and become superuser
$su -
then start supertux with the console option on
$supertux --console
you may or may not be able to this through command line in windows. you would need to run it as administrator though.

actually, i was thinking about this and u can run it on mac, u need to open terminal in mac. it's in the applications folder...
$supertux --console
and
$supertux -help
for a list of other commands

ok anoother thing im trying to do with the game is in the Read Me file it says | Quote: | Options and Save Files
SuperTux puts its saved games, custom levels and configuration files in <Home>/Library/Application Support/SuperTux folder. The format is very straight forward and is editable in any text editor. |
and the file is located in the SuperTux.app/Contents/MacOS of the game and its a EXEC file but TextEdit doesn't let me save in that format. so how do i change this? i want to make the save file on my iPod so i can continue gameplay on different comps at school
and if you need a copy of a Zipped version of the game there is one here SuperTux 0.3.1 |
