it doesnt emulate them lol, it actually either runs Windows on the mac or inside of os x tongue but nevertheless i would go with this choice, not wine

Bootcamp is the most stable way of running Windows apps using Mac hardware. Parallels does the job, but I don't recommend it to anyone who is impatient. I haven't used it since it's early 3.0 release, but @ that point in time, I found it rather sluggish.

Why not just dual boot your mac to run xp or vista, linux, ect on it too?

mac has best of both worlds as far as application compatability layers go. theres another thing for mac that lets u run linux aps. all terminal based though so u have to learn to navigate but GTK apps are supported some Qt and no KDE happy

crossover

(and it doesn't realy emulate the appz, it runs it on a virtual wind98.. without windows)

I bought it and use it for steam (counter-strike, TF2, portal etc)
also its handy for small apps like cd-keyz that are only windows but work with mac appz.
its all bit unstabel like most people know but I can play all these games without any troublz

also.. I tried to install bootcamp once and made a partition on my macHD, it failed... now I lost 11 G, where is it ? dno.. somewhere floating above my mac lolol
