try formats MP4(iPod filetype), MOV(apple's filetype), MPG(i know it does these)

like lbroskee said, JUST so you can add it to iTunes you need to convert the video to MP4, MOV or MPG. Id just stick with some other player like media center or wmp since I personally wouldnt want double copies just to enjoy it in iTunes

lol. i never doubted u were, all our oldest members here [AAAH no]. plus thats the joy of mac, u copy it to itunes then delete the desktop 1 and u only got 1 copy now that's easy to access. but ya use VLC or Quciktime for movies...more view options than itunes, i have Quicktime Pro BTW so i got all options i forget how free version is
