Alright, im just interested in this. what do you guys think would consist of a perfect Operating System? and dont just say 'any apple os' or WINDOWS or LINUX. just say what features you would like to see in a future OS. there are good things from all these OS (yes, i admit, windows has some good things) _________________

for 1 an awesome music/media player, AIM client, and of course web browser. a dock obviously judging by our community also apple has a feature called spaces that can give u multiple desktops on 1 screen. that is def included in my perfect OS because clears up your screen(but i dont know if that is even possible to do w/out something hard) _________________

Something like a windows start bar aswell. I hate the other thing that macs use because I'm the type that has many progs going at one and its easy acces...
I had objectbar and got rid of it. Hated it :/
I think we should get a unix thing and expand it using our ideas and release it on the market lol

I'd say the perfect OS would have a lot of mac features on it as well as a really easy to use interface, speech recognition (one that doesnt need 2hrs training to correctly hear some word), it would be fast and the OS itself would use minimal memory. Oh and like cross platform so all applications work on it _________________ Founder of Galaxy GUI |

Honestly, nothing is perfect. and some people do care. Stop posting some things that are pointless. Its not spam. But it kinda pisses some people off.
I see Fedora 8 as the next best operating system. If they start making their own like computers like Apple, something like the fedbook. They would become a huge hit. |
