I got one because I was configuring my audio settings, and a have a CD that has a track with a lot of frequencies, so I clicked play, and the tone that came out was something like 1Khz that is like a big BIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so me system didn't handle, and neither did I, my PC got a Blue Screen and I almost puke, got so dizzy :s

lol. I usually get bsod's when I modify some files or install some bad driver or program (i get some with logon studio vista :tired:), usually i fix it... although ive probably reinstalled xp and vista like 10 times or more on the computer im typing on xD

lol i get so sick of it. When i got my Acer Aspire 5920G
from my school i always had some BSOD surprised on vista.
now i never geted one because
i formated the whole Notebook now it works

I've never gotten BSOD on any of my own PCs, neither XP nor Vista
While attempting to fix other people's messed up systems though I've gotten maybe 3 that I can remember.
I've gotten BSOD on Win 98 at school, never gotten anything like that on Server 2003, or Linux SuSe Server

Crazy that some of you just get BSOD at random times tho, like playing games or watchin vid on youtube surprised

Anyways, I've lost count of now many BS (haha Windows - BS. Just me? Nevermind...) I've had on my XP machine, drives me round the bend angry Never had one on Vista though. In fact, I don't think Vista ever crashed on me...

what were you doing? confused I have a 2 year old dell and I've gotted BSOD's only like 5 times on it.. the only time i got them was when I was messing with things tongue
