I have a Fujitsu Siemens which is the lamest ever...

I don't really know :/ It freezes at least once a day but no BSOD

what were you doing? confused I have a 2 year old dell and I've gotted BSOD's only like 5 times on it.. the only time i got them was when I was messing with things tongue

alex, we only use win 98 in our computer forensics class, and we install/de-install all the time.
we use OSes from back to Win 98 up to Win XP SP2 and Win 2k3, Linux SuSe Server 10 and Ubuntu Live (funny enough usually to fix windows! tongue)
and out of all of them, only got BSOD on Win 98

everytime i start vista after about three seconds i get a BSOD :O thats annoying! im sticking to JUST linux now happy (thank god for the excuse to uninstall that crap from my computer....)
