I gotz it, its amazing ever since SP1

sp1 didnt really do much

lol i didn't notice a difference and on the gaming sites they didn't see much of a performance gain but cool

I've been using vista for like half a year now, and the only real problem was firefox crashing every 10 minutes...
I thought SP1 would fix that, but it didn't do anything lol
Then I disabled an add-on i had for firefox and it never does it anymore tongue

The only downside to vista is that you can't use stuff like styler and findexer, etc.

Yes, I have vista.

Coolness:

Customization:

→Awesome icons : )

→Changed most of my file types and system icons
→Patched a theme
→Use MSN Plus thing, and run a theme on that
→Use object dock plus or pro or whatever, with foldy-outy folders
→Cool wallpapers
→Rainlendar
→And I've got about 25gig of videos

Other:

→Messed with "msconfig" so vista uses much less ram.
→A nice large screen.
→Stoped stupid start-up programs
→And photoshop.

So vista, isnt all bad.

Vista, one has to take on case by case basis.

I do not recommend it nor use it for any development or work PC's. Too many issues. In fact, I have Vista Ultimate (32 and 64 bit -Employee purchase) and Office Ultimate 2007 I would unload. smile

I purchased them last year to test through SP1 and it failed for our needs. So we are sticking with XP for now.

Windows 7 working under the Server 2008 Kernel look more promising. Here's to hoping. ><

Windows 7 is a new kernel so it HAS to be better or much worse... im going on the latter at first but then a huge spike in awesomeness... hopefully Microsoft will make something i LIKE... but ill always be linux forever especially sence my printer STILL doenst work with vista nor my moms black berry :O

I have Vista, I like it. I'm not into programming or anything special, so it's a good day to day OS for me.

XP is and will be the best OS EVER!(Because leopard is very comfortable/nice and have a lot of exellent applications but for windows there are millions of applications better than mac's one)

Vista is horrible...and have the worst graphical interfaz that i ever seen

i unfortunately use vista while i'm waiting for my precious macbook to come back from france.
