here I would make the site in 3 vertical columns.
The main stuff of the left. Log in, search, all the things that are currently in the top and bottom just now.
Middle The part with the info. What it is about, how and why and the get started button.
The least important thing on the right. The newest updates.
Colour and design would be a good point too. and a fancy logo. |

How about taking on a web 2.0 style with some colors, glossy effects and drop shadows? right now it looks very plain.... nothing interesting, just some text and boxes
